SKyPAC Ambassadors

The SKyPAC Ambassadors is a volunteer program that supports SKyPAC’s Mission, Values, and Vision.  Ambassadors have a passion for the arts and an enthusiasm for providing exemplary customer service. Ambassadors greet and direct patrons, take tickets, distribute programs, assist with patron seating, and monitor the House during SKyPAC and Capitol Arts Center performances.   Ambassadors also assist with administrative tasks, gallery events, and education programs.  SKyPAC Ambassadors contribute a personal service to their community, their region and the arts.  The hallmark of SKyPAC Ambassadors is their dedication to ensuring that every patron has a positive and memorable entertainment experience!

Ambassador benefits include, when available, monthly drawings, ticket discounts, a SKyPAC newsletter subscription, and discounts to SKyPAC restaurant partners.  Ambassadors must be 18 years of age or older, undergo Ambassador orientation and training, pass a background check, have a valid e-mail address, and commit to serving a minimum of 40 hours per season.

  1. I am interested in volunteering at SKyPAC, but I am only available through July, 2012. Is this short period worthwhile for volunteer training? My 15- and 12-year-old daughters may also be interested, with the same calendar restriction. Are you accepting volunteers that age?

    Thanks.

    • Chelsea, Currently we do not have any administrative/desk positions available. Feel free to submit a resume and cover letter to us at info (at) theskypac (dot) com and we will keep you on file for future employment opportunities.

  2. I was just curious, my wife and I attended the Sat. night performance of The Beauty And The Beast. We had a great time and enjoyed it very much, but I was curious as to the cause of the “technical difficulty” that occured near the end of the performance. The performers did a great job of working thru what must have been a difficult situation. Thank you and keep up the good work. Jeff St. Pierre.

    • Hi Jeff,

So glad you and your wife enjoyed the performance on Saturday! I believe the technical difficulty had something to do with the special effects used at that point in the performance. All went smoothy for the rest of the performance and the others on Sunday. Thank you and we look forward to having you at SKyPAC again soon.
